Today we’re shipping Oracle Sync — a new feature that lets two people on The Oracle connect and receive a full relationship reading built from both their charts, numerology, and recurring archetypes. Not a compatibility score. Not a list of sun sign traits. A real reading, in the Oracle’s voice, specific to the two of you.

What existing apps get wrong
If you’ve used Co-Star or The Pattern for relationship insights, you’ve run into the same wall. They tell you things like “you’re both analytical” or “your moon signs clash.” It’s interesting for about three minutes. Then the question becomes: so what do I actually do with this?
The deeper problem is structural. Most compatibility features treat relationships as a static sum of two people’s traits. They compare individual charts and surface the overlaps. But a relationship isn’t a Venn diagram. It’s a third thing — an energy that didn’t exist before the two people met, and that evolves over time.
Co-Star’s compatibility view gives you a list of one-liners about communication, sex, and trust. The Pattern’s Bond feature goes slightly deeper, but the framing remains trait-based: here’s what you are to each other. Neither asks what type of relationship this is. Neither uses your full chart. Neither changes based on what you’re going through right now.
How Oracle Sync works
The setup is simple. Everything interesting happens inside the reading itself.
Every account has a permanent Oracle ID: an 8-character code on the Sync tab, alongside a scannable QR. It’s your entry point into any connection reading.
Send your connect link to whoever you want to explore a reading with. They open it in the app. Or if you have their ID, type it directly in the Sync tab.
This is where Oracle Sync differs immediately. You name what this person is to you: romantic partner, close friend, parent, sibling, manager, mentor. The connection type shapes the entire language and framing of the reading. A reading for a manager reads nothing like a reading for a romantic partner, even when the chart dynamics are identical.
Both people’s natal charts, planetary placements, numerology, and recurring tarot archetypes are computed server-side. Neither person ever sees the other’s birth data. What comes back is a full relationship reading — narrative, symbolic, specific.
The connection type shapes every word of the reading — a friend reading differs entirely from a coworker reading.
What’s inside a reading
The reading has a fixed structure, but everything inside it is generated fresh from the specific combination of charts and numbers that belong to the two of you.
Relationship Archetype — the most shareable part. A two-word poetic name that captures the essential dynamic of the pairing: The Lighthouse & Ocean. The Strategist & Dreamer. The Mirror. The Safe Harbor. Generated from the dominant inter-aspects and element overlay between the two charts. This sits at the top of the reading as an emotional anchor.
First Impression — three sentences in movie-opening style. “One of you brings fire. The other slows everything down. Conversations begin lightly but quickly become unusually honest.” Not who you are individually, but what happens between you.
From there the reading moves through seven named sections:

Dimensions show relative balance across five axes. The narrative beneath is generated fresh from both natal charts.
Today’s Dynamic — each connection on your Sync tab also carries a daily energy note refreshed every morning. A single sentence drawn from current transits and both people’s Personal Day numbers. Not a horoscope. A quiet observation about where the energy between you is sitting today.

The privacy point deserves a separate mention. On Co-Star and The Pattern, entering a relationship requires both people to share their birth data with the app. On The Oracle, all astrological computation happens server-side. Neither person ever sees the other’s birth date, birth time, or birth location. Only the narrative reading is returned.
