The Oracle is built at the intersection of ancient wisdom and modern intelligence. With that responsibility comes a duty of care. These principles guide every decision we make.
1. Human first, always
AI augments — it never replaces — human insight. The Oracle is a companion for reflection, not a substitute for medical, psychological, legal or financial professionals. When a conversation suggests crisis, we surface real-world resources and human support.
2. Honesty about what we are
Every reading is clearly identified as generated with the help of AI. We do not pretend to predict the future with certainty, and we will not invent biographical facts about you. The Oracle speaks symbolically, not deterministically.
3. Privacy by design
Your conversations belong to you. We never sell personal data, never share readings with advertisers, and contractually forbid model providers from training on your content. You can export or delete your data at any time.
4. Safety guardrails
Our prompts and moderation systems are designed to refuse harmful, hateful, sexual-with-minors, self-harm-encouraging, or medically dangerous content. We continuously test for bias across cultures, genders, and belief systems.
5. Respect for tradition
Tarot, astrology and numerology are living traditions with deep cultural roots. We work with practitioners to make sure our interpretations honour those lineages rather than flatten them into novelty.
6. Transparency in how it works
We publish the model families we use, the data we keep, and the changes we make. When we update the core experience, we tell you what changed and why.
7. Accountability
If something goes wrong — a wrong answer, an unsafe response, a feature that feels off — tell us. Every report is reviewed by a human and informs the next version.
